Real Estate Expenses Incident to Overseas Transfer

The entitlement of two employees to reimbursement for real estate expenses incident to overseas transfer was questioned. The employees were not entitled to reimbursement since their transfers were not within the United States, its territories or possessions, Puerto Rico, or Canal Zone, and erroneous information by Government officials did not provide a basis for payment. Erroneous payments to the employees may not be waived.
