Resolicitation Recommended because of Restrictive Specification

A company protested that a solicitation contained an overly restrictive specification. Since the agency did not show a reasonable basis for restrictions for equipment which would exceed the Government's minimum needs, the solicitation should be canceled and the requirement resolicited without the restrictive specification.
