Allegation of Errors after Bidder Voluntarily Verified Its Bid

Highlights

A company whose representative had voluntarily verified its bid subsequently alleged a mistake in the bid and requested reformation of the contract price. Since the company's representative verified the bid although he knew of disparities with other bids, acceptance of the bid by the contracting officer was reasonable. Acceptance of the bid consummated a valid contract, and reformation would not be proper.
