Time Limitation on Reimbursement for Real Estate Expenses

A transferred employee appealed the disallowance of his claim for reimbursement of real estate expenses. The employee may not be reimbursed for sale of his former residence since settlement took place more than 2 years after he reported for duty, and the time limitation in regulations cannot be waived.
