Highlights

An advance decision was requested concerning a National Guard member's entitlement to parachute pay during the period he was on full-time training duty. The member, who receives parachute pay when on inactive duty, was not entitled to incentive pay for the active duty training since it was not designated as parachute duty. The Secretary of Defense may wish to change regulations to provide parachute pay in appropriate circumstances.
