Request for Waiver of Overpayment of Post Differential

An employee requested reconsideration of the denied waiver of an overpayment of post differential, stating that he was not aware of the overpayment when it occurred. Although the employee acted in good faith, he had no basis upon which to rely on receipt of the money. The request for a waiver was denied because it would not be against equity or the best interest of the United States to require collection.
