Highlights

A company protested the refusal of the agency to permit correction of its bid after opening because the company's mistake involved "a lack of judgment." A second bid error which allegedly arose out of a misinterpretation of a contract drawing also could not be corrected. A bidder cannot recalculate a bid to include a factor it did not consider when its bid was submitted. The bidder's worksheets lacked sufficient detail to show the intended price for a semitrailer portion of the bid, and correction was not allowable. A protester can withdraw a bid if evidence establishes that bid errors were made in good faith. (SW)
