Protest Based on Error in Unit Price and Failure To Extend Bid Bond

A protester to a proposed contract award alleged that there was a discrepancy between the low bidder's unit price and the extended bid price and that the low bidder's bid bond had expired. The bid, which contained an apparent error in unit price, can be considered on the basis of the total price. Failure of the bidder to extend the bid bond when it was requested to extend the bid acceptance period did not make it nonresponsive.
