Request for Recredit of Forfeited Annual Leave

A former employee claimed payment for 56 hours of annual leave forfeited at the end of the 1974 leave year. The employee applied for disability retirement in December 1974 following use of sick leave and annual leave since March, and the agency placed him on leave without pay, effective January 1, 1975, to preserve his entitlement to an annuity increase. Under these circumstances, the annual leave cannot be restored.
