Claim For Reimbursement of Attorney's Fees

The Chief of the Accounting Section, Office of the Controller, Drug Enforcement Administration, requested reconsideration of a decision disallowing an employee's claim for reimbursement of attorney's fees incurred in connection with the purchase and sale of residences incident to a permanent change of station. The previous decision was sustained because the employee's real estate transactions occurred before a decision which modified requirements for prospective reimbursement and the employee failed to submit an itemized statement of legal fees.
