Temporary Lodging at Family Residence

Wayne B. Leshe, Authorized Certifying Officer, Federal Communications Commission, requested a decision concerning an employee's claim for lodging expenses incurred in connection with temporary duty. The employee claimed prorated lodging expenses based on the expenses of maintaining the family residence at the temporary duty station. The employee was not entitled to any cost of lodging at his own residence. (SW)
