Highlights

Army paid Federal Housing Administration mortgage insurance premium on house of active duty member. These payments erroneously continued after he sold house and became subject to repayment. However, these payments were part of benefits from active service, and thus fall within waiver statute. Army may therefore consider waiver of debt.
