Protest of Sole-Source Procurement

Sole source procurement of containers for coin proof sets was protested. The procurement was justified as the incumbent contractor misperformed and need for the item was critical. The price was not demonstrated to be unreasonable. The contracting agency determines the reasonableness of prices, and GAO does not interfere unless determination is arbitrary or made in bad faith.
