Highlights

An employee of the Social Security Administration (SSA) requested reimbursement for a powered wheelchair because of a violation of the Architectural Barriers Act of 1968 at the facility where he worked. SSA may reimburse its employee for the cost of the wheelchair. The chair will then become government property for use solely in the subject building.
