Claim for Damage to Personal Property

An Authorized Certifying Officer requested a decision as to the propriety of paying a claim for damage to an employee's suitcase incurred during official travel. GAO has no jurisdiction to consider such claims for other agencies; therefore, the determination of the National Park Service's Regional Solicitor is final and conclusive.
