Transportation Costs of Shipping Automobile

A civilian employee of the Navy appealed the decision denying his claim for shipment of his automobile from California to Maryland upon change of official duty station, claiming that the automobile is a household effect. The authority for transportation of household goods does not encompass transportation of an automobile; the claim was denied.
