Waiver of Claim for Advance Pay, Excess Leave, and Erroneous Allowance for Quarters

Waiver was requested of amount former soldier owed the United States for advance in pay, excess leave, and erroneous basic quarters allowance. Debts resulting from pay and allowances for properly advanced leave which became excess leave upon discharge and proper advance of pay were not erroneous and may not be waived. Member was without fault in erroneous overpayment of basic quarters allowance incident to numerous changes in station, and claim may be waived. (DJM)
