Reimbursement for Transportation and Storage of Household Goods, Evidence of Weight

Transferred National Science Foundation employee requested reimbursement for transporting his household goods in a rental vehicle, using corresponding weight rates. The employee may be reimbursed for actual expenses of transportation and storage to the extent that they do not exceed amounts reimbursable under the commuted rate system. The cost of cardboard wardrobes used for transportation was not reimbursable.
