Mississippi's Matching Contributions to the National School Lunch Program

Richard L. Feltner, the Assistant Secretary of Agriculture, requested concurrence in the proposal to waive the State of Mississippi's 1975 obligations to the National School Lunch Program. Since Congress has enacted legislation which would prevent a recurrence of the State's failure to meet the Federal matching requirement, and since a contrary result would withhold other entitled funds from the State, no objection was made to the waiver.
