Request for Waiver of Claim for Overpayments

A former Navy member appealed a decision denying his request for a waiver of the claim against him by the Government which resulted from an administrative error. The member should have realized that an inaccuracy existed in his pay, and collection of the amount due is in the best interest of the Government.
