Reimbursement of a Transferred Employee for Expenses of Mortgage and Title Insurance

Reimbursement of a transferred employee for expenses in connection with purchase of a residence was questioned. He may not be reimbursed for a mortgage insurance fee since mortgage insurance is not reimbursable. He may be reimbursed for the cost of the mortgagee's title policy since title insurance is reimbursable, and such costs are excepted from the definition of finance charges in the Truth in Lending Act.
