Highlights

A decision was requested with regard to reimbursement of an employee for subsistence expenses while occupying temporary quarters incident to a permanent change of station. Even though the employee's family spent 2 weeks in an apartment approximately 80 miles from the duty station, the employee may be reimbursed for his family's subsistence expenses since their occupancy of temporary quarters appeared directly related to the change of duty station.
