Disallowance of Claim for Lack of Evidence

A former military member requested review of a settlement which disallowed his claim for a class Q allotment believed due his wife incident to his service during the period of the Korean conflict. The Government records relating to the existence of the claim were destroyed by a fire, and there was no other documentation available from any source to prove or disprove the validity of the claim. There was no alternative but to disallow the claim.
