A decision was requested on the entitlement of an employee to temporary quarters subsistence expenses for meals and laundry incurred incident to a transfer. Reimbursement was allowed for laundry and meal expenses since the employee intended to move to family-type quarters as soon as they became available and lived in temporary quarters during the 30-day period of settlement. A claim for taxi fares incurred in the change of common carriers was not allowed.
