Waiver of Salary Overpayments

An employee appealed the denial of his request for a waiver of overpayment of two biweekly salary checks. The employee was at a training course and had no knowledge of the overpayment since his checks were sent directly to his new duty station. Since the employee was not aware of the overpayments at the time they occurred, he was not at fault, and the overpayments may be waived.
