Highlights

The agency questioned whether an alleged mistake in the bid may be corrected after contract award. The evidence was not sufficient to permit correction of the bid, but the contract may be rescinded because the contracting officer failed to adequately discharge his verification duty by advising the low bidder of the next low bid and the variance between bids received and the Government estimate.
