Highlights

A former employee appealed the disallowance of his claim for reimbursement of real estate expenses incurred in the purchase of a residence 55 miles from his new duty station. His claim was of doubtful validity since there was no clear evidence that he commuted to and from the residence on a daily basis, and his statements in this regard were inconsistent and unsubstantiated.
