Request for Contract Price Modification

A contractor requested modification of its contract to reflect an increase in the contract price as a result of a unilateral mistake in bid alleged after the award. There was no basis for allowing a contract price adjustment since a valid and binding contract resulted when the bidder verified its bid after the contracting officer had requested verification and had indicated the variation in the bids received. The contracting officer's recommendation that the contract be canceled was not adopted.
