Highlights

Advice was requested as to whether an intermittently employed consultant could be reimbursed for transportation expenses for commuting from his residence to his place of employment when the residence was outside the corporate limits but within the metropolitan or geographic area of his place of duty. The consultant may be reimbursed for the transportation expenses insofar as his intermittent employment caused transportation expenses which he would not otherwise have incurred.
