Highlights

Reconsideration was requested of the disallowance of an employee's claim for reimbursement for a loan origination fee incurred incident to the purchase of a residence at his new duty station. Although the employee claimed reimbursement on the ground that he relied on obsolete regulations allowing such reimbursement, the claim was properly disallowed since later regulations effective prior to the time the costs were incurred precluded reimbursement for real estate expenses which were considered finance charges under the Truth in Lending Act.
