Claim for Additional Reimbursement for Temporary Quarters Subsistence Expense

An employee requested reconsideration of a settlement disallowing his claim for additional reimbursement for temporary quarters subsistence expenses incident to reporting to his first duty station and holding him in debt because of an erroneous payment for such expenses. The employee was reemployed more than 1 year after his separation due to transfer of functions. Benefits incident to transfer of station payable to an employee reemployed within 1 year of the date of separation were not applicable in this case; the employee was not entitled to reimbursement for temporary quarters subsistence expenses.
