Views were requested as to whether docket fees may be charged against the United States. In spite of the prohibition in 28 U.S.C. 2412 against taxing of attorney fees and expenses, allowance of docket fees is in accord with congressional intent in the 1966 amendment of this section to bring parity to private litigants with respect to costs in litigation with the United States.
