GAO completed an audit on activities of the Bureau of Reclamation, Department of the Interior, and the Corps of Engineers (Civil Functions), Department of the Army, in the Central Valley Basin, California, for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1956. This audit was made pursuant to the Budget and Accounting Act, 1921, and the Accounting and Auditing Act of 1950.
