Highlights

A General Services Administration (GSA) employee requested reconsideration of his denied claim for overtime compensation. GAO held that the claimant was not entitled to any overtime compensation, since: (1) there was no evidence that the claimant was required to perform overtime work or prohibited from wearing his uniform during transit between his residence and duty station; (2) the appropriate official had not authorized overtime for uniform-changing purposes; and (3) the claimant's lunch period occurred during his regular 8-hour shift for which he was already compensated. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
