GAO commented on whether Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) employees should be reimbursed for the costs of procuring protective footwear to operate in a jungle environment. GAO held that DEA should reimburse its employees for costs of prucuring protective footwear, since the footwear was necessary to perform the DEA operation.
