Reimbursement for Parking Fees and Telephone Installation while on Temporary Duty

An advance decision was requested as to whether an employee may be reimbursed for parking fees and telephone installation and service charges while on temporary duty. The employee may not be reimbursed for parking fees since they would not have been incurred had she traveled by air as authorized. She may not be reimbursed for the telephone installation charges but may be reimbursed for the monthly service charge as a cost of lodging.
