Claim for Relocation Expenses

Accounting and Finance Officer Captain S. C. Shoemake, Jr., requested an advance decision regarding an employee's claim for relocation expenses incurred incident to his transfer. The employee was denied relocation expenses because of economy measures taken at the Air Force base. The employee was entitled to payment of relocation expenses because his transfer was in the interest of the government. (SW)
