A letter from Maj. P. R. Bergeron, USA, forwarded by Col. D. L. Applegarth, Defense Supply Agency (DSA), requested a decision regarding a DSA employee's reclaim of disallowed real estate expenses incident to a change of station. Because the employee's previous home was a duplex, he had been allowed one-half of claimed expenses. Reclaim was based on the grounds that the entire dwelling was occupied by employee and his family of six persons, the second unit being used for storage of personal items. Since the entire dwelling was used for residential purposes, the reclaim was upheld. (SW)
