An employee requested reconsideration of a settlement denying her claim to various expenses incurred incident to a permanent change of duty station. The employee shipped her mobile home to her new duty station and used it as her residence for 4 months before purchasing a new residence. Real estate expenses incident to the sale of the mobile home at the new duty station and purchase of a new residence may not be reimbursed. The claims for miscellaneous expenses, including repairs to the hot water heater, purchase of tires for the mobile home, and rental of a tow bar for the second automobile may not be paid since those expenses were not authorized under existing regulations.
