Highlights

Current service as an Assistant to the President while on the retired list of the Army clearly does not violate 10 U.S.C. 973(b) (see 25 Comp. Gen. 38, 41 (1945)), this office will no longer question the active duty pay and allowances paid to General [REDACTED] for the period May 4 to July 31, 1973, and the payment of retired pay from and after August 1, 1973.
