Recommendations for Executive Action
Agency Affected | Recommendation | Status |
---|---|---|
Department of Defense | The Secretary of the Navy should direct the Naval Air Systems Command to: (1) increase supervision over the program for requesting and providing long supply aviation assets to production contractors; and (2) request annual screening for long supply aviation assets in January rather than April. This action would permit available assets to be offered to production contractors early enough for suitable items to be used in the applicable production year. |
