Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) contract award for grave liners. GAO had held that the protester untimely filed after bid opening its protest regarding alleged solicitation improprieties. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended it timely filed its protest within 10 days of receiving a decision on its agency-level protest. GAO held that the protester failed to show any legal or factual errors that would warrant reversal or modification of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
