Robert L. Hoffman, President

Victor Rome Company:

We refer to your letter of May 23, 1988, requesting this Office to cancel our decision Victor Rome Co., B-231080, May 4, 1988, 88-1 CPD Para. ***, which held that-- the General Services Administration (GSA) properly rejected your firm's offer when GSA did not receive information requested by the time specified. You state that the Victor Rome Company sent a letter to our Office withdrawing the protest before we issued our decision because GSA had agreed to resume negotiations with the firm.

We have no record of receiving the withdrawal letter, and our file does not contain such a letter. Accordingly, the decision was properly issued and, under the circumstances, we see no reason to take any further action in this matter.
