The Office of Personnel Management requested reconsideration of a decision which held that an employee sent overseas on a 2-year training assignment was not entitled to reimbursement for the nontemporary storage of his household goods and shipment of a privately owned vehicle. GAO was unable to modify its previous decision. Payment of such items would require legislation.
