This decision responds to a request by the War Department to make payments on vouchers given for rent for space occupied by the Army in the Call Building in San Francisco.

Since the persons on the original leases are now deceased, it appears that an executor or an administrator in entitled to the realty of the deceased and to receive the rents therefrom until the estate is settled. If the lease involved is still in effect and was again renewed for the present fiscal year there is no legal objection to payment of rent, if otherwise proper, to the party considered attorney in fact for the deceased on properly executed and certified vouchers.
