Highlights

A firm protested the Navy's determination to exercise a contract option, contending that the Navy improperly allowed a large business to continue contract performance under the small business set-aside. GAO held that the protester had no legal basis to protest the Navy's actions, since there was no requirement that the contractor retain its small business status throughout contract performance. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
