[Protest of Navy Solicitation]

A firm protested a Navy solicitation, contending that the Navy: (1) did not allow it adequate time to prepare its bid; and (2) should have extended the bid opening period. GAO held that the protest was academic, since the Navy amended the solicitation and extended the bid opening period. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
