A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of an Air Force contract award. GAO had held that it would not review the Air Force's affirmative determination of the awardee's responsibility. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that: (1) its protest was based on the awardee's extremely low bid price and the awardee's mistaken interpretation of the solicitation requirements; and (2) it was not challenging the Air Force's responsibility determination. GAO held that the protester provided no evidence that: (1) the awardee misinterpreted the solicitation requirements; and (2) warranted modification of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
