[Request for Reconsideration of Protest of GSA Solicitation]
B-258262.3: Apr 3, 1995
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest of a General Services Administration (GSA) solicitation for computer software and support services. GAO had held that GSA reasonably determined not to issue the procurement as a total or partial small business set-aside, since there was no evidence that at least two small businesses could meet GSA software system needs. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that GAO should have dismissed its protest as academic, since GSA remedied the alleged lack of consideration of a small business set-aside. GAO held that the protester failed to present any evidence that warranted reversal of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
