A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of the Navy's rejection of its bid for lift station repairs. GAO had held that the: (1) protester's bid bond was of questionable enforceability, since the bond contained a restriction on the power of attorney; and (2) Navy properly rejected the protester's bid as nonresponsive, since the discrepancy in the protester's bid bond could not be waived. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that the Navy should have waived the discrepancy in its bid bond as a minor error. GAO held that the protester failed to show any legal or factual errors that would warrant reversal or modification of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
